📈 LACROIX EMERGES AS ONE OF PENNSYLVANIA’S TOP YOUNG FACEOFF SPECIALISTS‼️🥍

Wyoming Seminary rising sophomore faceoff specialist and midfielder Nic Lacroix caught up with NEPA Lacrosse after being selected to the 2026 NEPA Lacrosse Boys Rising Stars Team.

Lacroix made an immediate impact during his freshman season, winning 217 of 315 faceoffs for a 68.9 percent success rate. He also contributed 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points.

On the @palaxnews statewide leaderboard, Lacroix ranked No. 29 overall in Pennsylvania in faceoff wins. Using the leaderboard’s minimum qualification of 125 victories, he was the only freshman in the state to qualify.

He also earned WVC Coaches’ All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition within a competitive faceoff group that selected only one player from each team.

Lacroix credited Team TEN and the Philly Face-Off League for helping prepare him to compete against older and more physically developed opponents. Those opportunities have allowed him to train against high-level players across several age groups, including athletes already competing at the Division I level.

After completing his first varsity season at Wyoming Seminary, Lacroix said he learned that his responsibility extends beyond simply winning the faceoff. He wants to continue developing his ability to stay on the field, contribute offensively and defensively and make an impact after gaining possession.

Lacroix recently represented Team South at the New Balance All-America event and will continue competing against top players in the 2029 class at The Show this fall.

He said those national opportunities have helped him evaluate his game against some of the strongest players in his class. His current focus includes securing more ground balls and becoming a more complete faceoff midfielder who can contribute in every phase of the game.

Looking toward the college level, Lacroix is interested in studying pre-med or business and hopes to find a program that supports both his academic and athletic goals. He also wants a coaching staff that trusts him to play his game and recognizes that he can offer more than faceoff production alone.
