Color Of Change is a part of the Meet the Moment Maryland coalition of civil rights and democracy organizations. Michael Huggins and others at Color Of Change pressed Maryland's legislature to move forward with this constitutional amendment, demanding redistricting. 

Legislatures across the country are redrawing at a dizzying speed to dismantle majority Black districts that took generations to build. Maryland has the power to protect fair representation by protecting the promise of democracy for all. We need Maryland to protect our votes, our resources, and our power. We need you to stand up for the promise of democracy for all. 

Now is the time to meet the moment.
