It is near and dear to my heart that my French brothers and sisters contacted me on the anniversary of D-Day, especially given the content of my film. I was nominated for a BTCFF Excellence Award, Best Director, Best Music Video, Best Experimental Film, Best Original Score, and Best Cinematography. My film took the prize for Best Cinematography, which I am very grateful for, as the visual elements of this film were a steep hill to climb. La Vie En Rose! ——————— Le 6 juin 2023, les Français m’ont contacté et m’ont dit que mon court métrage, “A Mighty Endeavor”, avait été choisi pour le festival de Paris “Beyond the Curve” de 2023. C’est proche et cher à mon cœur que mes frères et sœurs français m’aient contacté à l’occasion de l’anniversaire du jour J, surtout compte tenu du contenu de mon film. J’ai été nominé pour un prix d’excellence BTCFF, le meilleur réalisateur, le meilleur clip vidéo, le meilleur film expérimental, la meilleure musique originale et la meilleure photographie. Mon film a remporté le prix de la meilleure photographie, ce dont je suis très reconnaissant, car les éléments visuels de ce film étaient une colline escarpée à gravir.
