Miles Mikolas is a veteran Major League Baseball pitcher. After rebuilding his career in Japan, he returned to MLB with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2018 and finished the season with an 18–4 record, a 2.83 ERA, and his first All-Star selection. He has recorded more than 70 career wins and over 900 strikeouts.

Mikolas has faced injuries and inconsistent performances in recent seasons, but he continues to be a valuable veteran for the Washington Nationals. His experience and determination have helped him remain an important part of the team.

Last night, Mikolas made headlines by laying down a clutch RBI sacrifice bunt in the 11th inning against the Philadelphia Phillies. It was his first plate appearance since 2022, and his bunt helped the Nationals score the winning run.
