XIBEI Eatery specializes in northwestern Chinese cuisine, and every dish we tried delivered. The beef short rib oil splashed hand-pulled noodles were the standout: deeply flavorful, incredibly toothsome, and generous enough to share. We also devoured the mapo tofu rice bowl, uni & shrimp shumai, beef & onion shumai, and steaming baskets of xiao long bao.

We ordered extra shumai and xiao long bao to take home because we already knew we’d be craving them later. 🥟 

If you’re near UCLA, this is absolutely worth adding to your list. ✨
