## Caption

It’s almost that time of year when the salmon runs reach their peak here in BC, and predators like bears take their stations at the water’s edge.

Soon the rivers will be filled with chinook, sockeye, chum, and coho, each following its own migratory route upstream. For many on the Pacific coast, this timeless ritual marks the changing seasons, with the bulk of the salmon arriving from September through October.

But for now, we’re content to linger in the long days of summer, and hope you’re enjoying yours too!
