Today we celebrate Kobe’s 2nd birthday. 🎉🐶 When I adopted him, he was 1 year and 1 month old, so we never got to celebrate his first birthday. Before that, he had been tied to a tree and left outside a shelter with no info. He only had a couple of days left before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Around that same time, I had just moved to Nebraska. It was a new job, a new industry, a new state, and a completely new chapter of life. I was feeling lonely, and I knew I needed a companion. Fast forward to today, and he’s become my best friend. We run together, hang out, cuddle, explore, and he’s always by my side. Coming home to his excitement and seeing that smile every day is one of the best parts of my life. His love is completely unconditional, and watching him become part of mine and now with Kaylee and her family has been incredible. I’ve wanted a dog for as long as I can remember, and Kobe has been even more amazing than I ever imagined. Rescuing him ended up changing my life just as much as it changed his.
