Growth can look sudden when you only see the finished picture.

But behind every full room, every celebration and every proud moment were years of uncomfortable firsts, quiet doubts, and setbacks.

I used to think confidence came before you did the scary thing.

It doesn’t.

Confidence is built every time you do it scared and realise you survived.

This isn’t really a before-and-after. It’s every version of me choosing not to give up on the next one.

I’m grateful for where I am, but I’m even more grateful for the person I was when there was no proof it would all be worth it and I carried on anyway.

Your beginning doesn’t need to look impressive.

It just needs to happen.
