Time and time again, I stumble on my path, and every single time, I am helped back up by God. Whatever the setback may be, there is no doubt in my mind that the Lord will continue to lift me higher than I ever could have imagined.

August 7th, 2026, is a day that has been etched into my mind and marked on my calendar for longer than I can remember, and I was fortunate enough to come here and give a piece of myself. Even though the outcome wasn’t what I had dreamed of, I am far too blessed to think twice about the plan He ultimately has for me.

Due to a lane infringement in the semifinals, I lost the opportunity to become the World U20 200m champion, leaving me unable to show the world what I’ve been honing for years. I’d be lying if I said this didn’t hurt. Nevertheless, all the support and love I’ve received has been felt and appreciated!

One day, my dreams are going to come true, but I can’t forget that where I am today was once the goal. Sometimes the wait is longer because the blessing is bigger. Even when progress feels slow, quitting won’t make it any better, and that’s why I gotta keep going. 
I will go as far as I want!
