Friday, we celebrated Law Day by welcoming students to the Kansas Judicial Center. 

Students toured the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals courtrooms and met justices, judges, and court professionals. They learned about how courts work, jury service, and careers in the legal field. An information fair gave them the opportunity to connect with legal organizations and learn about resources available to Kansans. 

Understanding how the legal system works is an important part of civic life. We were glad to play a role in building that understanding.
