No podcast.

No television.

No music.

No motivational video telling us to wake up at 4:30 a.m. and conquer the world before breakfast.

Just silence.

We grew up waiting without screens, getting grounded without Wi-Fi, and staring at the ceiling until our parents decided we had learned whatever lesson they never actually explained.

So now, a quiet car, an empty garage, or five uninterrupted minutes on the back porch feels like a luxury vacation.

Other generations may call it isolation.

Gen X calls it peace.
