Congratulations to Canadian 29er sailors Freida Smith and Laura Eisenhauer, 2026 Women's European Champions following the 29er European Championship held August 1-8 in Lake Lipno, Czech Republic. The Canadian team took the first position in the women's competition out of 80 teams, the first in the women's U17 division out of 27 boats, the second position overall in the U17 division, and the 6th position overall out of 179 teams. A total of four Canadian teams represented the country at this event.

Félicitations aux athlètes canadiennes en voile en 29er Freida Smith et Laura Eisenhauer, championnes européennes féminines en 29er à la suite du Championnat européen en 29er présenté du 1er au 8 août à Lake Lipno, en République tchèque. La formation canadienne a terminé en première position dans la compétition féminine sur un total de 80 équipes, la première place dans la division M17 féminine sur un total de 27 bateaux, la seconde position dans la division M17 sur un total de 57 bateaux, et le sixième rang au classement général sur un total de 179 équipes. Un total de quatre équipes canadienne ont représenté le pays lors de cette compétition.
