Returnees That Could Outplay Their Production From 2025

-RB Ousmane Kromah: The former four-star prospect has been the star of fall camp thus far. Even with names such as Tre Wisner and Sam Singleton Jr. in the rotation, Kromah should have plenty of opportunities to showcase his talent.

-WR Micahi Danzy: The Tallahassee native wants to be more than just a “speedster” in 2025. The Seminoles brought back Duce Robinson, which will have plenty of attention, but it helps to have someone like Micahi Danzy as a number two option. The converted wide receiver looks to take another step in his development this year.

-OL Andre Otto: There was a thought process that Florida State would never play offensive linemen that they recruited out of high school, as they always gravitated towards transfers. However, the former three-star prospect Andre Otto has a chance to be a productive piece on the offensive line in 2026.

-DL Darryll Desir: One of the bigger storylines is the Desir Twins returning to Tallahassee for another season after entering the transfer portal. Mandrell Desir gets plenty of discussion for his play last year where he had 6.5 sacks. However, his twin brother (Darryll Desir), has been raved about by the coaching staff and should make a difference in 2026.

-DB Ashlynd Barker: The ROVER position is one of the more important positions in defensive coordinator Tony White’s unit. The Seminoles had Earl Little Jr. transfer to Ohio State this offseason, so veteran Ashlynd Barker will make the most of the opportunity in 2026. After having 42 tackles in 2025, consistency and durability have to be a top priority for him to be an impact player.

*Just Missed the Cut: Defensive Linemen Kevin Wynn, Daniel Lyons, and Deamontae Diggs.

To be honest, there are plenty of defensive linemen and it is challenging to figure out how they will manage it all. Some of them are young and unproven. However, the unit is very talented and they have the chance to turn this defense into something special in 2026. 🔥🍢 #gonoles #fsufootball #floridastate #collegefootball #mikenorvell
