❗️Dodge is building a combustion-powered Copperhead halo car, but the engine under its hood may be nothing anyone expects.

The low two-seat coupe will sit at the top of Dodge and SRT’s performance lineup, filling a Viper-like halo role without being positioned as a direct Viper successor.

Tim Kuniskis confirmed the prototype displayed exhaust pipes and is intended to use an internal-combustion engine.

What he did not confirm was a HEMI V8, despite that being the obvious enthusiast assumption.

Kuniskis said the final engine could be something the public does not know about yet, or even something that does not currently exist.

The Copperhead also does not share the Charger’s hard points, allowing its much lower, wider and more exotic proportions.

Kuniskis described those dimensions as genuine production-intent proportions rather than styling tricks created for a show car.

Dodge has committed the Copperhead to its product plan before 2030, while the widely reported 2029 arrival and $100,000 price remain estimates rather than official figures.

These visuals are independent concept renders because Dodge has not yet released official public images of the production car.

Would you rather see the Copperhead receive a supercharged HEMI V8, a new V10 or an entirely new engine?

What are your thoughts? 🤔💭
