What do you do?

Being on call and having to operate on the holy day is what your role is as a physician/surgeon

My teacher who was in the hospital over shabbos told me that this is my mission. “My shlichus”

Around 10 years ago, I got a call late Friday night about a terrible finger injury that probably needed an amputation

I thought to myself this could probably wait until Sunday

As I was thinking this, I glanced over at the new Journal that came in the mail

It showed a new technique to salvage a finger, the exact injury I was dealing with

Thank GD, I was able to save the finger

I got a wink from GD, not only telling me to go in and work on his holy day, but telling me what to do 🙏❤️🔥
