A San Francisco artist spent $6,000 on a billboard for an “AI-powered” chatbot called ChatTJB.

But the twist is that the AI was actually just one guy: Tucker Bryant (iamtucks )

He personally read the questions, thought about them, typed the answers, and even drew pictures for some users.

The project was meant to make people question how quickly we trust something just because it looks like an AI interface.

Bryant called it “cognitive surrender.”

At one point, ChatTJB received thousands of questions, so he had to bring in other humans to help.
