ICE continues to incarcerate children, separate families, hurt people and kill people across this country. Time and again, families are left grieving while those responsible face no accountability. Almost 80% of people being harassed and detained have no criminal history. Congress should not keep looking away. ICE has become increasingly militarized, with expanding powers, deadly tactics, and no safeguards to protect the public.

Congress must act. Rein ICE in. Defund the agency, abolish it, and build a system that respects human rights and due process. Please let’s do something before more lives are lost. Thank you.

ICE cannot enter a home or place of business without a judicial warrant signed by a judge. If they do, you can tell them to leave immediately. 

ICE administrative “warrants” are not signed by judges; they are ICE forms signed by ICE officers and they do not grant authority to enter without consent of the occupant(s).
