Fall camp for Auburn Football opened up earlier today. As other outlets watch the different players and newcomers, we look at the aesthetic changes.

Another set of new Guardian Caps.

Auburn has sported Guardian Caps in practices to help reduce head impacts. In the spring, the Tigers used off-white Guardian Cap 2.0 shells with the AU logo and stripes printed directly onto the padding. New this year are true white Caps with a new set of decals specifically for the Guardian Caps.

New navy practice pants.

Last season, Auburn continued to wear the navy Under Armour pants with the stripes down the leg, but placed the SEC patch over the UA logo. New this fall are all-navy Nike pants, but without the stripes.

No, these don't indicate the navy pants are being prepared for a game down the road.

The first few days of camp are usually in shells without pads. We'll have to wait and see if the team wears these for the padded practices or reverts to old game pants.
