Rani Lakshmibai.
Subhas Chandra Bose.
Chandrashekhar Azad.

But India's freedom wasn't written by a few heroes.

It was written by thousands.
Teenagers who never reached 20.
Mothers who left their children behind.
Teachers who became revolutionaries.

Tribal leaders who fought without expecting their names in textbooks.
Farmers.
Poets.
Students.
Princes.
Ordinary people who chose an extraordinary sacrifice.

This wall has just 100 names.

Imagine the thousands more whose stories remain untold.
Freedom wasn't a single movement.
It was millions of small acts of courage.
Today, we enjoy the result.
The least we can do is remember those who made it possible.
