## Caption

The Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo might be the last of a dying breed.

While the rest of the GT3 grid went turbocharged, AMG kept the M159 a 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8, mounted front-mid, sending roughly 550hp to the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential.

Note what it’s not: it doesn’t share an engine with the road car. AMG went back to the old SLS block for one reason it survives 24 hours at full power.

No air conditioning either in the Malaysian heat 🤣

The front-mid layout leaves the rear light.

Carbon everywhere. Under 1,300kg.

Nothing else on a GT3 grid sounds like this.
