Carmelo Anthony was going toe-to-toe with Kobe and the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, giving Denver a real chance to reach the NBA Finals.

Melo averaged 27.5 PPG in the series, and the Nuggets ultimately fell in six games to the eventual champion Lakers.

This was the closest Carmelo Anthony ever came to making an NBA Finals. 😔
