Everyone can pull a statistic now. AI made that part free. The skill that is quietly becoming rare is knowing which number actually matters.

I read a lot of reports. The headline that travels is almost never the number that changes anything, and the number that changes everything usually sits three paragraphs down, unbolded, where nobody is looking.

This is the habit I try to build in everyone I work with, whether they are learning with us at phoenix_cultivate_academy or handing us their own messy data to make sense of at phoenix_analytics_africa Not memorising tools. Learning to ask the quiet question the loud story skips: true for whom, and what does it actually mean for the people it describes.

That question is going to be worth a great deal on this continent over the next twenty years. The sooner you learn to ask it, the earlier you are standing where the value is about to move.
