Trinidad and Tobago, we finally have some breathing room.

wam.now gives us a practical way to fund an account with TTD, convert that money into USD or euros and move it somewhere we can use internationally.

Already have Wise, a compatible US bank account or Charles Schwab? You can send your USD there.

Don’t have any of those accounts? Create a verified sendanaglobal account, send USDC from Wam to Sendana over the Stellar network and use Sendana’s virtual card online—or add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay where supported.

The process is straightforward:

1. Add TTD to Wam
2. Convert your ttd to USD/Euros/USDC/USDT
3. Send the USD to a compatible account, or send USDC to Sendana
4. Access and spend your money

Wam Personal accounts currently allow up to TT$40,000 in monthly transaction activity.

Business accounts get access to TT 1million for transactions.

This does not solve all of our foreign-exchange challenges, but it can provide meaningful relief for students, travellers, entrepreneurs, remote workers and Trinidadians living abroad.

Starting from scratch, you may be able to get the route set up in approximately 30 minutes. Registration, verification, funding and processing times can vary.

I have been using this workflow, and the experience has been seamless.

Save this carousel, share it with someone who needs better access to their TTD and visit the link in my bio for the complete step-by-step guide.

Don't forget to give this post a reshare...

We all need the info!
