nobody gets hit. it’s three shots, a slow gimbal move, and a fist that never reaches the lens. the impact only exists in the audio. laser to cut the frame, dramatic whoosh underneath to build the depth, risers and practicals stacked so it doesn’t sound synthetic.

most people shoot the punch and wonder why it lands soft. it’s not the choreography, it’s that there’s one sound where there should be four.
