Coach Prime opened Colorado’s fall camp practice to the public Tuesday — and now Buff Nation got a chance to see what we’ve been telling you about.

But this Morning Wood goes beyond the practice field.

Edge Rushers Coach George Helow says forget the “depth chart” right now — Colorado is working off a REP CHART. Everybody is getting opportunities, and everybody has a chance to prove they can be trusted.

Coach Prime delivered a powerful lesson about being a great teammate, using his former Atlanta Falcons teammate Bill Goldberg as the example — with Goldberg’s son now part of the Colorado program.

I’ve been telling y’all this running back room is SPECIAL, and when you hear RB Coach J Mack address this team, you’ll understand where some of that attitude comes from.

Then the rain started falling at the end of practice…

And Coach Andre Hart turned the weather into a message:

YOU are the new beginning.

That’s what Tuesday revealed.

This isn’t simply about finding 22 starters. Coach Prime and this staff are figuring out who they can TRUST when Colorado takes the field against Georgia Tech on September 3.
