The Sudanese Student Association at VCU hosted the Taste of Sudan event on Saturday, March 28, in the Commons Ballroom. The event was a showcase of Sudanese culture including traditional dance, a fashion show, food, songs and more. It was a year-long planning process leading up to the event, according to Sara Elkheir, president of the Sudanese Student Association at VCU. ⁠
