“Morning Moon” is an independent feature film by award-winning writer-director Aaron Greer. The film follows Selena, a newly orphaned 22-year-old, as she searches for her biological father. The crew included several members with UW ties: Aaron Greer, associate professor in uwcommarts; Erik Gunneson, coordinator for the Digital Cinema Production Certificate; Master of Fine Arts graduate Swan Ferraro (‘26); and communication arts graduates Alejandro Dominguez (‘24), Kyla Pollard (‘24), and C. Kessler (‘24).

“I want to see the places I’m living in and I’m from on the big screen,” says writer and director Aaron Greer.

“It’s nice to be on set with a director who really cares, and who also has a clear vision of his own,” says film crew member Kyla Pollard.
