The concept for GaGah! looked to the visionary legacy of Gerald Arpino and his groundbreaking ballet Billboards, which paired ballet with the music of Prince in a bold meeting of movement, music, and popular culture. That spirit of innovation has long been part of the Joffrey legacy and continues to influence the way Joffrey Ballet School encourages dancers and choreographers to explore, take artistic risks, and bring new ideas into the studio.
