Tech rehearsal is where every element of a performance comes together. As our flagship NYC Jazz & Contemporary Summer Intensive: SPECTRUM prepares for its culminating performances, dancers move from the studio to the stage, working alongside lighting designers, stage managers, choreographers and production staff to refine spacing, timing, transitions, lighting cues, and every technical element that brings each work to life.

It’s the first opportunity for every moving piece of the production to come together, transforming weeks of rehearsal into a fully realized performance experience. While audiences see the final result, tech rehearsal is where precision, collaboration, and artistry meet behind the scenes.
