The campsites deserve their own post! ⬇️

People have been asking me if we camped in Son Doong, so I thought I would make a post featuring each our campsites!

As this was a trek from one end of the cave to the other, we had a different campsite each night. 

The first night we actually camped in Hang En, which means bird cave. This cave is on the way to Son Doong, and there were tons... TONS.. of birds (swifts) above us. Even though this wasn't Son Doong yet, this campsite was my favorite!!! 

The second night we camped in Son Doong at the first Doline (opening in the cave). And the third night we camped at the second doline. 

All of the campsites had natural light shining in, which was a nice break from the darkness of the cave! 

Even though sleep was hard for us, each of our campsites was beyond awesome!
