Lightening is not something to f around with but as an Athletic Trainer, we know things like this are preventable. If there’s lightening in the area, we call it. If Coach is mad about it, F em. 
Our job is safety no matter what. 
I’m sure some people here have some horror stories of coaches wanting to play with lightening in the area
