On Monday, participants of the #WorldHeritage Young Professionals Forum presented their Declaration to the 48th session of the World Heritage Committee, sharing a collective vision for the future of our shared heritage.

Over the past days in the Republic of Korea, these emerging heritage professionals exchanged knowledge, engaged with local communities, explored World Heritage sites, and learned from experts and one another. More than a forum, it has been an opportunity to build lasting connections, challenge perspectives, and strengthen the skills needed to safeguard World Heritage in an ever-changing world.

Because preserving heritage is not only about protecting extraordinary places. It is about empowering the next generation to lead with knowledge, collaboration, and a shared sense of responsibility.
