Meet adoptable Jade, a 6 month old, 32 lb shepherd mix who is shy, gentle, and very easy to root for. She has a soft, thoughtful way about her and loves being petted once she feels comfortable. One of the nicest things about Jade is that even when the world feels big, she can settle in beautifully, including sitting outside at restaurants while everything buzzes around her.

Jade is also doing nicely with other dogs. She is cautious at first, but when she gets close enough to say hello, she stays calm and polite, sticking to a quiet sniff and taking things at her own pace. At home, her playful side is starting to come out more and more, and lately she has been a big fan of rope toys.

Jade is mostly housetrained, continuing to settle into home life, and learning more every day. She is the kind of dog who feels especially rewarding to watch blossom.
