Please share to help gentle soul Grover find his forever home <3 

Meet adoptable Grover, a 1 year old, 20 lb terrier mix who is looking for a calm, patient home where he can keep coming out of his shell. He came from a hard situation with a lot of animals and not a lot of human interaction, so needs a little time and space to get his bearings. Over the last few months, he has made so much progress! That being said, he needs people who will let him move at his own pace and give him the time he deserves to feel safe. A quieter home would be ideal for him.

Grover has already made some really meaningful strides. He happily joins in for treats, meals, training, and quiet time with his people, and he has started asking for affection on his own, resting his head on a leg or rolling over for tummy rubs during peaceful moments at home. For a dog like Grover, those choices are a big deal. 

At home, he is very well behaved. He sleeps through the night, enjoys his toys, has a great appetite, and even does a happy little dance at mealtime and when his person comes home. He is a funny, endearing little guy who makes his foster laugh every day. What he needs now is a person who understands that trust takes time, and that the best things with Grover will come slowly, gently, and be so worth it.

We are hoping to find a home for Grover that will give him the patience and time that he needs, hopefully in a quieter area where he can just be your little shadow. If that's you, please do reach out!
