Today, Memphis and FedEx team members around the world came together to honor FedEx founder Frederick W. Smith.

@flymemphis is now "Frederick W. Smith International Airport," a lasting tribute to the visionary whose impact on aviation, global commerce and Memphis reaches far beyond the runway. Among the first aircraft to land at the newly renamed airport was FedEx 777 “Rosie,” featuring a nostalgic Federal Express livery inspired by our original 1973 Falcon jets. Today we also launched the inaugural FWS Day of Service, honoring Smith’s commitment to civic pride by giving back in communities around the world.

His vision moved the world. His legacy moves us forward. 💜🧡
