Speechless. Words can’t even describe what these photos mean to me. 

First off, my only constant in these photos is my family always showed up. They have been on this journey with me since day 1 and have never left my side. I wouldn’t change this ride with any other solid group of 4 🤍

The second photo marks the first professional baseball team (Sonoma Stompers) I had ever played for. To my 2nd professional team (Staten Island FerryHawks), 3rd (Oakland Ballers), lastly (Savannah Bananas). 

I was 17 years old when I first signed my first ever professional baseball contract. I only played with and against men majority of my career. People told me to play softball because I don’t belong in baseball, people looked at me crazy, people crossed my boundaries, people overstepped me, people put me down, people shot me down before taking a chance, people used me for wrong intentions, people told me I would never be able to make a career out of this game. 

Throughout those years, during one of the toughest seasons of my life, I remember praying on my knees in tears alone in my hotel room asking God to make a way. Asking that the pain and struggle would be worth it and that He would bring me peace. 

Fast forward, 11 years later on August 2nd 2026, I played in my first ever Women’s Professional Baseball game. I never knew this day would come, I did not know if it was even possible but God made a way and is so faithful. Not to mention, it was also the most peace I have ever had stepping on a baseball field in my whole career. 

You may be seeking, asking, or desiring something in your life and questioning when the time will come. I promise, if you keep going and you keep the faith, God will always make a way. This journey is not for the weak and it most certainly was not perfect. However, I wouldn’t change it. We made it, we’re here, & to anyone who ever told me women don’t belong in baseball… THANK YOU because if it weren’t for your discouragement it wouldn’t have pushed me to make this dream happen. 

To every young girl out there, you now have a place to call home. The path is made for you so you don’t have to make it yourself. Keep going and always Be You.
