🥘 Eat Until Satisfied, Not Full.

Ayurveda encourages us to listen to our bodies and to eat until we are satisfied, but not to the point of feeling overly full or heavy. This allows our digestive system to function optimally, preventing sluggishness or discomfort after meals

🍽️ The Division of Your Plate: Imagine dividing your plate into four equal parts, each representing a different aspect of your meal:

1️⃣ ➕ 2️⃣ Two Parts for Solid Foods: These are the physical, tangible elements of your meal, like grains, vegetables, proteins, and fruits.

3️⃣ One Part for Liquids: This portion comprises fluids like water, herbal teas, or broths. Including liquids helps in digestion, prevents dehydration, and aids in nutrient absorption.

4️⃣ One Part for Air (Nothing): The fourth part, often referred to as the "air" portion, signifies leaving some space on your plate unfilled. This emptiness symbolizes mindfulness, reminding us not to overindulge and to maintain balance in our eating habits.
