Yesterday, parts of Europe experienced one of nature’s most spectacular visual events: a total solar eclipse! 🌖☀️
While observers on the ground in Greenland, Iceland, Portugal, and Spain watched the Sun disappear behind the Moon, our satellites were watching from a very different angle.
Here you can see the Moon’s giant shadow tracking across Earth’s surface, captured by Meteosat-12’s FCI instrument! 🛰️ 👉
