Darius Cooper made the Eagles last year as an undrafted free agent out of Tarleton State in Texas, and he’s continued to impress in training camp.

With DeVonta Smith and Makai Lemon sidelined with hamstring injuries, Cooper has been taking full advantage of his time in practice.

“He’s got a hunger, and he’s got a diligence about himself,” Hurts said of Cooper. “I think those are great competitive qualities, competitive traits that you can have.”
