In November 1857, during the siege of Sikandar Bagh, Uda Devi took on the British Empire alone to avenge her fallen husband. Disguised as a man, she climbed high into a tree and picked off officers one by one—leaving the British army terrified and confused.

It took an entire battalion opening fire on a single tree to finally bring her down. When they checked her body, they were stunned to find a woman warrior underneath the uniform. ⚔️
