VEGAS TO RENO 2025 | 498 MILES OF DESERT

Vegas to Reno is never easy. Nearly 500 miles of Nevada desert, high-speed sections, technical terrain, dust, heat, and countless opportunities for something to go wrong.

For Ford Performance and the RTR Vehicles Off-Road Team, 2025 brought two Raptor platforms to the starting line and both made their mark.

The #7366 Ford Bronco Raptor, piloted by Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Bailey Campbell, delivered a standout performance in Class 7300. After nearly 500 miles of racing, the Bronco crossed the finish with a Class 7300 victory, finishing in 10:24:44.671 and more than 30 minutes ahead of the second-place Chevrolet.

For the team, it was another demonstration of what the Bronco Raptor can do when pushed deep into the desert. The same production-based platform has continued to prove itself in some of the toughest terrain in North America.

In Class 1200, the #1252 Ford F-150 Raptor R carried Loren Healy and Eric Davis through the same 498-mile course. The Raptor R finished 3rd in class, crossing the line in 12:08:28.475 less than a tenth of a second behind the second-place truck on elapsed time.

The result doesn’t tell the whole story.

Two different Raptors. Two different classes. Hundreds of miles of desert. One team working from sunrise until the final truck crossed the finish.

That’s what Vegas to Reno demands: preparation, consistency, communication, and the ability to keep moving when the desert starts taking things apart.

The #7366 Bronco Raptor brought home the Class 7300 win.
The #1252 Raptor R finished on the Class 1200 podium.
