## Caption

I really wanted to try some fair photos - bringing a strobe to freeze the subject and allow the lights in the background to shine with motion blur. It was technically very difficult and I struggled. I also recognize that struggle is a necessary part of the learning process so trying to be ok with it. Many thanks to my volunteer model and lighting crew for patiently waiting for darkness, for rides and people to stop and start and for my many “just one more” (never true) requests. The first slide is the closest to what I was looking for. Will try again another time with lessons learned - and a tripod… #fair #august #classof2027
