## Caption

Penn State Fayette recognizes the unique role that first-generation college students play in enriching our campus and shaping the future. As a community, we are proud to celebrate those trailblazing students' determination, resilience, and achievements!

First-generation students, those who are the first in their families to attend college, bring diverse perspectives and experiences to our academic environment. Their journey to higher education often involves overcoming significant barriers, from navigating the complexities of college applications and financial aid to bridging cultural and educational gaps. These challenges, however, forge in them a unique strength and perseverance.

Today's first-generation bingo event at the Williams Building Student Center was a fantastic experience, with over 100 in attendance. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the community. Here's to the continued success of our first-generation students!
