## Caption

Today, faculty, staff, and students at Penn State Fayette wore purple and teal in support of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Together, we're raising awareness, advocating for mental well-being, and creating a supportive environment.

Remember, you're not alone; opening up about your emotions is a sign of strength. Penn State has partnered with the Crisis Text Line to offer an alternative way to access crisis intervention services, providing FREE 24/7 support through text messaging.

Crisis Counselors in this service are volunteers who are trained to actively listen and help you find a moment of calm and establish a plan for improved well-being. To connect with a live Crisis Counselor, simply text "LIONS" to 741741. A counselor will respond promptly to assist in managing the crisis at hand.
