Brian Reese, assistant director of the Fayette County Drug and Alcohol Commission, dispelled harmful misconceptions surrounding NARCAN and provided a hands-on training session on how to administer the life-saving medication for our nursing students. By fostering open dialogue, the session highlighted the importance of understanding this crucial tool in combating the opioid epidemic.
