Phantom Fury is almost here!

III Armored Corps & Fort Hood and Fort Hood MWR are bringing back an amateur MMA-style competition. Soldiers from across the installation have surpassed the qualifiers to step into the octagon to test their skill, grit, and determination.

Unlike qualifiers, the following are allowed:
•Punches to the face and body
•Kicks from the shoulders down
•Takedowns and ground fighting
•Ground-and-pound while working for submissions
•Knees to the body of standing and grounded opponents

Each matchup features three 3-minute rounds, with competitors wearing 4-ounce gloves and shin guards. A fight can end by decision, TKO, KO, or submission.
