Eclipse glasses have been selling out across the country, with the BBC reporting huge queues and shops struggling to keep up with demand. One London shopkeeper said a handful of stores had sold 26,000 pairs in just three days, while a shop in Wales reportedly shifted 500 pairs within hours.⁠

One woman in Cardiff even paid £20 for a pair after struggling to find them elsewhere.⁠
