🇷🇺 THE BANK OF RUSSIA APPROVES #BITCOIN FOR PUBLIC TRADING ON DOMESTIC EXCHANGES‼️

Russia is moving deeper into a regulated “digital asset” market structure.

According to TASS, the Bank of Russia included Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether in the registry of cryptocurrencies available for public trading on domestic exchanges. 👀

The regulator says assets were selected based on market capitalization, average daily trading volume, and at least five years of foreign-exchange pricing history.

The Bank of Russia also capped crypto purchases for retail, non-qualified investors at 300,000 rubles per year, or about $3,632.

Qualified investors can access a broader set of crypto assets through exchange and OTC markets.

This is another major country formalizing crypto market access while the global crypto rulebook keeps getting written. 👀
