Head Coach Stacy Hollowell is bringing on a former UNO legend Ervin Johnson to his coaching staff. 

Ervin Johnson played in 123 games for the Privateers averaging 13.1 PPG, 10.5 REB and shot 59% from the floor. 

In 1993 Ervin Johnson was a consensus All American and also Sun Belt Conference Player of the year after leading UNO to a perfect 18-0 record in conference play. 

Johnson was also a 3 time all conference selection and his #40 jersey has been retired by UNO. 

Johnson was drafted 23rd overall by the SuperSonics in the 1993 NBA Draft making him the only 1st Round draft pick in UNO history.
