Congratulations to everyone who participated in Saturday’s Percy Sutton Harlem 5K. As a part of Harlem Week, this race celebrates the vibrant culture of Harlem and honors the remarkable life of Percy Sutton, who served as Manhattan borough president and worked to promote Harlem’s economic development. Sutton also played a crucial role in making the New York City Marathon a 5-boro event!
 
Thanks to our runners, our #RisingNYRR participants and families, our NYRR Striders, and the #NYRRVols who made this such a fantastic morning. Special shoutout to our Open Run New Runner Clinic and Run for the Future participants who completed their first-ever 5K!
